Coast 26 (Part 1)
A Season in Soft Focus.
The Christian Kimber Summer 2026 campaign captures the relaxed rhythm of an Australian summer — where craftsmanship meets ease and texture tells the story.
Photographed by long-time collaborator Chege Mbuthi on digital and film in St Kilda West, the series embraces the light leaks and soft tones of analogue photography to create something intimate and quietly nostalgic.
The collection draws from the colours of the coast — washed greens, sandy neutrals, sea blues, and sun-faded whites — echoing the landscape that inspired it. Fabrics are chosen for their lightness and tactility: seersucker, natural fibres, loose-knit cotton, and silk blends that breathe and move with the body.
Signature knit polos, draped tailoring, and romantic, looser silhouettes define the season — clothes made for warmth and movement, refined but never overworked. There’s an easy confidence in the way everything falls, a balance between polish and comfort that feels inherently Australian.
It’s a collection that celebrates the beauty of simplicity — timeless pieces designed for real life, shaped by light, texture, and a genuine sense of place.
